Laboratory Best Practices

Reproducibility begins with documentation. Every vial should carry a lot number cross-referenced to a receiving log, storage log, reconstitution log and administration log where applicable.

Cold chain is non-negotiable. From receiving through storage through reconstitution, temperature excursions above 8°C for reconstituted material or above –15°C for lyophilised material should be documented and, if severe, treated as a compromised lot.

Cross-contamination protocols matter: dedicated syringes per compound, no vial-sharing between peptides, and rigorous surface hygiene in the reconstitution area.
